Bullguard is an interesting security option with plenty of features that help it stand against other antivirus programs. It’s also one of the few to offer an extensive selection of subscription options (up to 15 devices on certain plans) and a reasonable price tag.
Unlike some other antivirus software, BullGuard uses machine learning to identify and deter threats before they can cause serious damage. This is an excellent feature, and one that we’d like to see more of from other companies. The AV package also comes with a number other security tools, including a secure web browser (which makes tracking your web browsing difficult for hackers) and identity theft protection.
If you are looking for a more complete package, we suggest upgrading to Premium or Internet Security. These packages offer additional anti-malware and anti-virus elements and a parental control option for Android devices.
Another aspect that differentiates BullGuard apart is a « data leakage protection » tool that warns you as soon as it finds data such as your passwords or address being leaked online. The UI is simple to use, however we’d love to see more help material to aid those unfamiliar www.softwareindigo.com/bullguard-review/ with cybersecurity.
BullGuard provides 24/7 support via live chat, email (English Only), and an FAQ section. Users can also use the forum to discuss issues with other users or with the company. The only thing that’s missing is phone support however, which isn’t much of a deal for most users.
